PORK CHOPS GERMAN STYLE 
4 good size pork chops
Salt and pepper
1/2 tsp. caraway seeds

Heat a frying pan and put the pork chops in and sprinkle with salt and pepper and the caraway seeds. As soon as the chops are brown, turn them. When the second side is brown, pour in just enough water to cover the chops and cook until the water has boiled away. Then add another half cup of water in which a teaspoon of flour has been blended and cook slowly until the chops are tender, about 20 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes.
