MEATBALLS AND SPICY BARBECUE
SAUCE
 
2 lb. hamburger
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1/2 c. water

SAUCE:

1/2 c. chopped onions
1 can tomato soup
1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
2 to 4 drops hot sauce
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tbsp. mustard
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Mix ingredients for meatballs together. Form into balls and drop into boiling water. When balls float to the top they are done.

Sauce: Cook onions in butter until tender. Stir in the rest of ingredients and simmer 5 minutes, stirring often. Makes 3 1/2 cups sauce.
