FROSTED CHERRY PIE 
1 (16 oz.) can tart cherries
1 c. sugar
3 1/2 tbsp. corn starch
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. almond flavoring
1 (9 inch) baked pie shell
6 lg. graham crackers
2 tbsp. melted butter
2 c. sour cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Drain cherries; set cherries aside and mix cherry juice, 3/4 cup sugar, corn starch and water. Cook stirring constantly until clear and thick. Cool, add flavoring and cherries.

Turn into pie shell. Roll crackers fine, mix with butter. Sprinkle on top of cherries. Mix cream, remaining sugar and vanilla. Spread over crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes. Chill for several hours.
