BUTTERSCOTCH CANDY 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light colored Karo syrup
2 tbsp. vinegar
4 tbsp. water
1 c. butter

Combine all ingredients. Boil and stir until brittle when tried in cold water. Pour on buttered plate and cool. Crack in pieces. Watch so it does not scorch while it is boiling.
