TERIYAKI (MARINATED) 
1-1/3 c. soy sauce
1 or 2 cloves garlic (fresh, chopped and crushed)
1-1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. chopped green pepper-optional
1/3 - 1/2 c. water (opt. use if larger amount of sauce is needed)

Combine all ingredients. Let set at room temperature 1 hour before using as meat marinade. Chicken or large pieces of beef or venison should be soaked and occasionally turned overnight in refrigerator.
