HARD ROCK CANDY 
4 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. water
1 1/4 c. white Karo syrup

Cook to a boil of 300 degrees. Take off burner. Add 1/2 tablespoon flavoring oil for candy, and food coloring. Spray marble slab with Pam. Pour candy on and work it until you can cut it with scissors into bite size pieces. Before it is ready to cut, have several pans with powdered sugar ready to coat the candy. Start cutting, working fast as it hardens very quickly. Takes several people to cut before it gets too hard to cut.
