1 can (21 oz.) peach pie filling 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg 1 c. buttermilk baking mix 1/4 c. milk 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. butter, softened 2 tbsp. toasted slivered almonds Ground cinnamon Mix pie filling and nutmeg in 1 1/2 quart microwavable casserole. Microwave uncovered on medium-high (70%) 4 minutes; stir. Mix baking mix, milk, sugar and butter until soft dough forms; beat vigorously 20 strokes. Stir in almonds. Drop by 6 spoonfuls onto hot mixture around edge of casserole; sprinkle with cinnamon. Microwave uncovered 2 minutes; rotate casserole 1/2 turn. Microwave until biscuits are no longer doughy, 2 to 5 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serve with cream if desired. 6 serving. |
