PEACHES IN WINE 
4 to 5 lb. fresh sliced peaches
3/4 c. sugar
2 sticks cinnamon
2 whole cloves
1/2 c. red wine
1/2 c. water
Juice of 1/2 lemon

Boil all ingredients and pour over sliced peaches and marinate overnight. Serves 8.
