BARBECUED PORK CHOPS 
6 to 8 pork chops (or 3 to 4 lbs. ribs)
1 onion
1 c. ketchup
1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
2 dashes Tabasco sauce
2 c. water

Place chops in shallow roasting pan, place thin slice of onion on each. Roast in very hot oven (450 degrees) for 30 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients, bring to boil and pour over chops, continue baking in moderate oven (350 degrees) until tender, about every 45 minutes for 1 hour. Baste chops (or ribs) with sauce every 15 minutes. If sauce gets too thick, add more water.
