GERMAN CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE | |
1 German chocolate cake mix 1/3 c. butter, softened 1/2 c. coconut 1 egg 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened 3/4 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 2 c. sour cream 1/4 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla Mix the cake mix, butter, coconut and 1 egg until crumbly. Press mixture gently into ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan. Beat together until fluffy the cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar, 2 eggs and 2 teaspoon vanilla. Spread over chocolate mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven and spread while hot with sour cream mixed with 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Let cool. Refrigerate 8 hours or more. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before cutting for serving. |
