HAMBURGER HOT DISH 
8 oz. 4 c. frozen hash browns
1 lb. hamburger
1 med. onion
1 (10 oz.) frozen peas
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
1 c. milk
6 slices Velveeta cheese
1 (3 oz.) can French fried onions

Butter a 9 x 13 inch pan. Cover bottom pan with hash browns. Brown hamburger and onion; drain fat. Place hamburger on hash browns. Season to taste. Put peas over hamburger.

Mix soup and milk in a bowl. Pour over potatoes, meat and peas. Place cheese on top. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Take out; remove foil. Sprinkle on fried onions. Pat back in oven with heat shut off.
