GLASS CUSTARD 
1 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. sugar
dash of salt
1 egg yolk, beaten
3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla or less

Combine first 3 ingredients. Gradually add next 3 ingredients. Cook slowly until mixture slightly thickens. Beat egg white until stiff with 1 tablespoon sugar. Fold into custard. Add nutmeg or cinnamon, if desired. Pour into tall glasses. Drink or eat with iced teaspoon.
