APRICOT JAM 
12 oz. dried apricots
3 c. water
1 lemon, thinly sliced, diced, seeds removed
20 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice
4 c. sugar

Simmer apricots, water and lemon until thick, 10 to 15 minutes. Mash. Add pineapple and sugar. Simmer 10 to 15 minutes longer. Put in jars. Refrigerate until cooled.
