CHICKEN ADOBO 
1 whole chicken, cut up in serving pieces or cut up chicken legs & breasts
1/2 c. vinegar
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. soy sauce
Black pepper
2 bay leaves
1/3 c. water

Wash cut up chicken and place in a pan. Make mixture of vinegar, garlic, salt, soy sauce, pepper and bay leaves. Pour over chicken and then mix thoroughly. Cover and let simmer until chicken is tender and the liquid has practically evaporated. If chicken is already tender and there is more liquid, drain liquid. Add 2 tablespoons oil and fry meat until brown. Serve hot or cold.
