FRUITCAKE DROPS 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. grape jelly
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. chopped walnuts
1 1/2 c. raisins
1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Powdered sugar, optional

In a large mixer bowl, beat butter 30 seconds; add sugar and beat until fluffy. Add egg, grape jelly and vanilla; stir together flour, cocoa and baking powder. Stir flour mixture into beaten mixture. Stir in nuts, raisins and chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls into greased and floured baking sheets.

Bake at 350 degrees about 10 minutes or until just set. Cool 1 minute. Remove to wire rack to cool. If desired, sift powdered sugar over cooled cookies. makes about 50 cookies.
