GARDEN FRESH TURKEY STIR-FRY | |
1/2 lb. fresh turkey (split breast, cut in 1/4 inch strips) 1 to 1 1/2 tbsp. butter 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. paprika 3/4 c. yellow squash (thinly sliced) 1 c. green pepper (cubed) 1/2 c. (2 oz.) snow peas 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning 4 or 5 cherry tomatoes In a self-closing plastic bag, combine turkey with salt, black pepper, garlic and paprika. In a wok or a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon butter over medium-high heat. Add turkey and stir-fry 2 to 4 minutes or until meat is no longer pink. Remove from pan. Add remaining 1/2 tablespoon butter and heat. Stir-fry green pepper, squash and snow peas for about 1 minute. Sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Stir-fry until vegetables are tender-crisp. Stir in turkey and cherry tomatoes. Heat until warm. Serves 4. |
