PINEAPPLE - LEMON CREAM CAKE 
1 (1 lb. 4 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (3 5/8 oz.) pkg. regular vanilla pudding mix
1 env. Dream Whip, fix according to pkg. directions

Make a lemon cake mix in 2 (8-inch) layer pans. Cool thoroughly.

Cook pineapple and pudding (add nothing else) in heavy pan over medium heat until very thick and translucent. Remove from heat; cool and chill well. Add Dream Whip and mix well. Spread generously between layers and on top.
