MISSISSIPPI MUD PIE 
1 stick butter
3 (1 oz.) sq. unsweetened chocolate
3 eggs
3 tbsp. white Karo syrup
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 uncooked 9 inch pie shell

Melt butter and chocolate. Set aside. Beat eggs until frothy. Stir in sugar, syrup and vanilla. Add chocolate mixture. Pour into pie shell and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Do not overcook. The filling should remain soft inside.

Serve warm with ice cream.
