HAWAIIAN BAKED CHICKEN 57 | |
2 - 2 1/2 lbs. fryer pieces or 2 lbs. chicken breasts 1 ( 8 - 8 1/2 oz.) can pineapple slices 1/3 c. Heinz 57 sauce Salt and pepper 2 tbsp. honey Drain pineapple, reserving 2 tablespoons liquid. Combine reserved juice, 57 sauce, and honey. Season chicken with salt and pepper; place in baking dish. Pour sauce on chicken. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until tender, basting occasionally. Arrange pineapple on top of chicken during last 5-10 minutes. Microwave Directions: Remove skin from chicken and arrange pieces in microwave safe dish, meat side down. Baste with sauce; cover with lid or waxed paper. Cook on high 15 minutes, rearranging and basting chicken every 5 minutes. Place pineapple slices and add more sauce. Cook 2 minutes longer. Serves 4-5. |
