APPLE DUMPLINGS 
2 apples, peeled and quartered
1 can crescent rolls
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. orange juice
cinnamon
brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350. In a pot, melt butter, sugar, and orange juice until fully dissolved. Separate each crescent roll and press out with hand. Put one apple quarter into each roll and seal. Place in casserole dish. Pour sugar mixture over dumplings. Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.

Bake until apples are tender and dumplings are brown.
