OVEN BROWNED RICE WITH CHICKEN 
1 fryer, cut up
1 c. long grain rice
1 1/2 c. water
4 chicken bouillon cubes
1 stick butter
1 med. green pepper, diced
1 med. onion, diced
1 can sliced mushroom
Pimento (optional)

Salt and pepper chicken and brown in butter. Remove chicken. In same pan (use baking pan), saute pepper and onion until tender. Add remaining ingredients. Arrange chicken on top; cover. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
