PELAU 
4 c. rice
1 c. chopped chicken breast
1 c. chopped sirloin steak
1 c. chopped pork steak
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. curry
6 c. water, add more if needed
Dash of red pepper
2 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 onions
Dash of thyme
2 garlic cloves
2 lg. tomatoes
2 tbsp. raisins

Add sugar to meat and brown; add 1 cup water and all seasonings. Cover and simmer until meat is tender. Add water when necessary to prevent meat from burning. Add 4 cups water. Add rice and stir well. Add salt. Cook until rice is soft. Stir in butter.
