PICKLE WONDER | |
1 gallon sour whole pickles 4 c. sugar 1 sm. bottle Tabasco 2 cloves garlic Pickles must be sour whole, not dill. 1 gallon sour pickles. Pour off all liquid. Cut pickles into 1/4 inch rounds. Place 1/2 cup sugar on bottom of the gallon jar. Add pickles and garlic (peeled and cut into lengthwise pieces). Add more sugar. Repeat. Layer to top. It will take all the sugar. About halfway, add the Tabasco sauce. Put top of jar. Rotate every day and shake 10 days. These are really wonderful. |
