GARLIC BREAD 
1 lb. loaf French bread
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
3 cloves garlic, minced or 1 tsp. garlic powder

Slice bread in half lengthwise. Set halves, cut side up on broiler pan. Combine butter, cheese and garlic. Spread mixture generously over each half of loaf. Set under broiler for about 5 minutes or until topping is hot and bubbly. Makes 8 servings.
