PINEAPPLE ICE BOX PIE 
1/2 lb. vanilla wafers
1 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
1 sm. can crushed pineapple
1/2 pt. whipping cream
1 c. nuts

Crush vanilla wafers until fine. Put half in glass dish. Beat butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs and beat vigorously until creamy. Pour on top of vanilla wafers.

Chip cream, fold in pineapple and nuts for top layer. Sprinkle with remaining vanilla wafer crumbs and place in refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Serve with additional whipped cream.
