AMAZING!!!! I needed to finish a cake for Winter Fun Festival for my son's school!!! Fast and easy to make. And I really like the fact that it only makes a little...and so easy to make if you need more!!! Thank you!!!

This is a quick and easy, but makes very, very little fondant. Also, if you are looking for a rolled, hard fondant, this is not for you, it comes out softer, more of a frosting consistency than a rolled fondant! Otherwise, the taste is great, I added a little splash of vanilla with the milk and it gave it a nice flavor!

Thank you. This is the easiest fondant recipe I've found. All the others have glycerin and glucose and all that stuff that i cant find in the grocery store. I tried the marshmallow recipe and it was so sticky, it did not work. THANKS!

This was awesome! So easy to make and to form! I have no clue what the first person was saying, I guess they don't know how to make anything right cause when I made it it turned out perfect! Now, the first person who commented, I would recommend getting baking classes.

I was wondering if it would work with food coloring, and if you cut flat shapes.

This is the best fondant recipe I have ever used. I added a couple of extra tablespoons of powdered sugar to make my fondant a bit firmer for sculpting and cake covering. It was perfect. It melts in your mouth like frosting, but it's easy to knead and sculpt like clay. I love that it doesn't include marshmallows or glycerine, and it is easy to flavor with vanilla or fruit extracts. It's SO great that I can color this with water based dies and it won't seize up or crumble. Thank you for this! I love it.

Wonderful for improvising last minute birthday cake! Didn't work until Tamara's comment about adding more powdered sugar until the firmness I wanted!

I love this recipe. Easy and quick! Just one addition, if you want to shape the fondant, you will need to add a few spoonfuls of icing sugar.

Simple and QUICK recipe. I didn't have any trouble coloring or forming this fondant, just added more powdered sugar to increase firmness.

This certainly was EASY to make, but I had problems with the fondant crumbling I tried adding more milk or shortening without success. Perhaps there is no shortcut to a fondant. It might be okay for flat panels, but I couldn't shape it.

Hi Michael,

If you don't have the time to make a classic fondant from scratch, try Domino's Amerifond.

Hi Michael, several of the recipes that I've reviewed suggested that the fondant sit in the fridge for a couple of days. Fortunately I don't try to form, I just need a candy middle that will dissolve with alcohol.

Michael, I was in Colorado a couple years ago and the altitude affected every recipe we used. I would recommend trying again but adjusting the liquid and maybe mix a little longer.

As Michael stated. I also had the same issue. However I was wondering if mixing the ingredients in a mixer makes the difference? I mixed by hand (spatula). I make cakes regularly, and have never tried fondant thought I would give it a try. Any tops?
