PICKLED EGGS | |
2 doz. boiled eggs, shelled 4 c. white vinegar 2 tbsp. mixed pickling spices 2 bay leaves 1/2 c. sugar 2 tsp. seasoned salt 2 (1 oz.) bottles red food coloring Place eggs in large (gallon) jar. Mix vinegar, spices, bay leaves, sugar and salt; bring just to a boil. Cool, mix in food color and pour over eggs. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours (48 is better). |
