3 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sifted flour
1 stick soft butter
Dash of salt

Mix crust ingredients until smooth. Shape into balls the size of a walnut and chill.

FILLING:

3/4 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
1 tbsp. melted butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. finely chopped nuts

Mix all ingredients well. Place each ball in small size muffin tins. Shape ball of crust in bottom and sides of tin. Add 1 teaspoon of filling to each crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
