APPLE CRISP 
1 c. butter
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 c. brown sugar
2 c. oatmeal

Mix ingredients as for pie crust. Line a 9 x 13 inch pan with half of above mixture. Reserve other half for top. Fill pan with apples as for pie; sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Spread top mixture over apples. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
