TENDER MEATBALLS IN MUSHROOM
GRAVY
 
1 lb. hamburger
4 slices soft bread
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. chopped onion
1 can mushroom soup
1/3 c. water
1/4 tsp. pepper

Break bread in small pieces. Combine meat, bread, salt, pepper and onion. Shape into 2 inch balls. Brown in a little oil on all sides. Place in slow cooker. Mix the soup and water. Cook on low for 6-12 hours or on high for up to 6 hours.
