1 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tbsp. cooking oil
1 c. water
food coloring

Mix dry ingredients. Add oil and water. Cook over medium heat until it clings. Take off heat. Knead in a few drops of food color until playdough is smooth. Ready for hours of play. Store in airtight jar or bowls. Keeps for months.
