I wasn't quite sure what to think of this recipe, until I made it tonight. The flavors compliment each other very well. Overall, a nice meal....and quick! Thanks for sharing, Michael.

Well, since my previous comment, this has now become my all-time favorite casserole. I think the flavors blend even better if simmered for about 20 minutes on the stove top, or baked for 20 minutes in the oven. Be sure you use the Kraft DELUXE Macaroni and Cheese, as Michael instructs, and NOT the Kraft Mac & Cheese (with the powdered cheese) or you will not get the correct flavo. Thanks for getting me hooked on this recipe, Michael. It's awesome!!!!

Delicious. Made this with the powdered kind and I know it wouldn't be as good, but the kids and I still slammed.

Yes, you missed out if you used the powdered kind of Mac & Cheese, Joycelyn. It's just not the same. I made Michael's Cheeseburger Macaroni again tonight...as I do nearly every week. I didn't have an onion on hand, so I substituted with 1 1/2 teaspoons of onion powder. It tasted excellent, even with the onion powder.
