ZAC'S FAVORITE BROWNIES 
1/2 c. butter
4 oz. chocolate
4 eggs, at room temperature
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1 c. pecan or walnut meats

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. If you want brownies chewy, use a 9x13 inch pan; if cakey, use a 9x9 inch pan.

Melt in a double boiler the butter and chocolate. Cool this mixture. Beat eggs with salt until light in color. Add gradually the sugar and vanilla. With a few swift strokes, combine cooled chocolate mixture with eggs and sugar. Fold in the flour. Stir in nut meats. Bake for approximately 25 minutes. Cut when cool.
