SOUR CREAM FRUITCAKE 
1 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. sour cream
1 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
1/2 tsp. rum flavoring
1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
2 c. flour
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 c. English walnuts, chopped (or hickory nuts)
3 c. flour

Combine shortening and sugar; cream together. Add eggs, sour cream, milk, salt, baking powder and flavorings. Mix well. Add 2 c. flour; blend well; dust the nuts with the remaining cup of flour; add to batter. Mix into batter. Pour into large, greased and floured tube pan or 3 loaf pans.

Bake at 350°F for 40 to 50 minutes until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.
