FRUIT COCKTAIL CAKE | |
This recipe produces a tasty, low fat dessert, even the kids will like. 2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 2 c. sugar 1 pinch salt 1 can (number 2) fruit cocktail 2 eggs (or eggbeater equivalent) Mix first four ingredients in bowl, then add fruit cocktail and eggs, mixing well. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until done. TOPPING: (Optional because it adds fat grams) 3/4 c. light evaporated milk 1 c. sugar 1/4 lb. butter Cook 10 to 12 minutes until slightly thickened, then pour over cake. |
