SUGAR AND SPICE PECANS 
1/4 c. butter
3 c. pecan halves
1/2 c. sugar
3 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg

In 10-inch skillet melt butter; stir in pecans and 1/2 cup sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar melts and pecans brown, 8 to 12 minutes. Meanwhile, in large bowl combine all remaining ingredients. Stir in caramelized pecans. Spread on waxed paper; cool completely. Break clusters into individual pecans. Store in tightly covered container. Makes 3 cups.
