COFFEE CAKE 
2 c. bread starter
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. each cinnamon, soda & salt
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2/3 c. oil
Nuts, raisins & or fruit of choice up to 2 c. total

Bake in oblong pan. Mix all ingredients, pour in pan. Add topping made of: 1 c. brown sugar 1 tbsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. melted butter

Sprinkle over cake batter; swirl over cake with fork or spoon. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Add glaze below if desired.

GLAZE:

1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. milk

Combine in saucepan and boil for 5 minutes. Pour on cake. While cake is hot.
