2 c. flour
Pinch of salt
1 c. butter
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3 tbsp. sugar

Work all together with pastry cutter. Beat 1 egg and add to flour mixture. Pat in pie plate. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes. Good with fresh strawberry or peach pie.
