CHERRY CRISP 
2 cans (16 oz.) pitted dark sweet cherries (drained)
2/3 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. regular oats
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/3 c. butter, softened

1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.

2. Spread cherries in an ungreased square pan, 8 x 8 x 2 inches.

3. Mix remaining ingredients with fork.

4. Sprinkle over cherries.

5. Bake about 30 minutes.

6. Serve warm with ice cream if desired.
