PETER'S CABBAGE ROLLS 
1 lg. cabbage
3 onions, coarsely chopped
1 onion, finely chopped
1 lb. ground turkey
3/4 lb. ground sirloin
1/2 c. or more of seasoned bread crumbs
2 ripe tomatoes, chopped
1 can chopped tomatoes with juice
Pepper to taste
Hungarian paprika to taste
Dried basil if desired

Core cabbage and cook to remove whole leaves. Cool leaves. Meanwhile combine ground turkey and ground sirloin with 1 finely chopped onion and seasoned bread crumbs. Add spices to taste. Place portions of meat mixture in each cabbage leaf and wrap envelope - style, completely encasing filling.

Melt butter or oil in electric skillet. Add coarsely chopped onions to cover bottom of skillet and cook lightly. Place cabbage rolls on top of onions and cover with chopped ripe tomatoes and canned tomatoes and juice. Cook covered about 1 hour or until done.
