SHEET TARTS 
1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 (20 oz.) cans pie fruit filling

Cream sugar, shortening, and eggs well. Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, and baking soda. Gradually add flour mixture alternating milk and vanilla. Mix well until ball forms. Spray cookie sheet with Pam. Spread dough onto cookie sheet, bringing up on sides of pan.

Spread 2 cans fruit filling over dough mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden crust.
