1 lb. lean ground beef 1 c. onion, chopped 3/4 c. chopped green pepper 1 clove garlic, crushed 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes 1 c. raisins 1 tsp. chili powder 1 tsp. cloves 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/8 tsp. pepper Cook beef over medium heat with onion, green pepper, garlic. Break up meat until meat is browned and onion tender. Drain. Stir in tomatoes, raisins, chili powder and pepper. Bring to boil, lower heat, simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally 15 minutes. Serve over rice. |
