PERSIMMON COOKIES 
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
1 stick butter
1 egg, beaten
1 c. persimmon pulp
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. nuts
1/8 tsp. cloves
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cream sugar and butter and egg together. Add pulp, sifted ingredients and rest of ingredients. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Drop from teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
