ITALIAN CHEESE BALLS WITH SAUCE 
1 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 c. pecan meal or fine ground pecans
2 egg beaters
1/2 c. onions, finely chopped
1/2 c. bread crumbs or cracker crumbs
1/2 tsp. clove fresh garlic, chopped fine
1/4 c. oat bran
1 tsp. salt
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (8 oz.) can tomato soup
1 c. water
Pinch of cumin powder

Combine all ingredients, except for sauce. Mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls into 375 degree fat. Fry only until balls are set. Place in baking dish and cover with sauce. Sprinkle additional cheese over sauce and balls. Bake for a half an hour at 375 degrees.
