FROSTED BUTTERSCOTCH SQUARES 
1 1/2 c. broken nut meats
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 box dark brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter
Pinch of salt

Melt butter 2 minutes in microwave. Stir in sugar and cook 2 minutes in microwave, until melted. Cool. Stir in unbeaten eggs and mix well. Sift dry ingredients together and add to sugar, butter, and egg mixture. Then add vanilla and nuts. Bake in oblong pan in 325 degree oven for 25 minutes. Cool in pan. Cut into squares and frost with the following frosting.

2 tablespoons butter, thin cream or milk, 1 1/2 cup confectioners sugar and vanilla. Melt butter and add rest of ingredients.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
