1 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
3 tsp. alum
2 tbsp. corn oil

Mix and add 1 cup boiling water. Add food coloring with water. cook a little on low heat until thick and in a ball. Put out on flowered waxed paper and knead. Keep in covered container to keep soft.
