3 tbsp. instant coffee (not decaffinated)
3 c. sugar
3 tsp. vanilla
1 qt. water
1 1/2 pts. 80 proof vodka

Bring coffee, sugar, and water to a boil. Simmer uncovered 1 hour. Let cool. Then add vanilla and vodka, mix well and bottle. DO NOT cork tightly; use screw top. Age 30 days. Makes approximately 2 fifths.
