DELICIOUS RHUBARB CAKE 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 egg
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 tsp. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. fine cut rhubarb

Mix all together; bake in 9x13 pan at 350 degrees about 40 minutes or until done. May frost or may sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the top.

FROSTING:

3/4 c. milk
3 tbsp. flour

Cook until thick and cool slightly. Beat into the above mixture: 3/4 cup butter, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread on cooled cake.
