SCALLOPED HASH BROWNS 
1 tbsp. butter
3 c. loose frozen
Hash browns
1 can Cream of Chicken soup
1 c. cheddar cheese
1/2 c. sour cream
Salt and pepper
1/2 c. bread crumbs

Place butter in 8 x 8 dish. Cover with wax paper. Microwave until melted. Stir in remaining ingredients except crumbs. Cover and microwave on high 8 to 9 minutes. Stir 3 times. Sprinkle with crumbs. Microwave uncovered 2 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
