3 eggs, beaten
2 c. sugar
2 c. stewed apples (dried apples)
2 tsp. baking soda (in apples)
1 c. ground nuts
1 c. butter
1 lb. flour
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. allspice
2 c. ground raisins

Mix all of the above ingredients and bake at 300°F until done.

Icing:

1 grated coconut or 1 can coconut
2 ground lemons (rind and juice)
2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour or cornstarch
1 c. boiling water
